Working collaboratively with colleagues and multi-disciplinary professionals, you will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every student is supported to make meaningful academic, social, and emotional progress.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and evaluate teaching for individuals and small groups in line with the school curriculum and policiesMonitor, assess, and report on student progress, using outcomes to inform planning and next stepsCoordinate teaching, assessment, recording, and reporting across agreed subjects and key stagesDevelop, implement, and review individual education, behaviour, and support plans in collaboration with colleaguesCreate a stimulating, well-organised learning environment that meets the needs of all studentsPromote students’ physical, educational, social, and moral development in line with school valuesManage and support challenging behaviour, encouraging self-regulation and independenceAbout YouWe’re looking for someone who is:Qualified: UK QTS or equivalent, with a relevant degreeExperienced: Strong understanding of SEN, including ASC, learning difficulties, and complex needsCompassionate & Resilient: Able to build trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced significant challengesCollaborative: A clear communicator who thrives in a team environmentCreative & Flexible: Able to adapt and innovate to meet individual needsAbout Us Hillingdon Manor is an independent specialist school for autistic pupils aged 11 to 19, spread across two vibrant sites. We offer a personalised, autism-specific education that nurtures each pupil’s strengths and abilities, with an adapted curriculum designed to meet individual needs and help students achieve their full potential.Guided by our core values — Ready, Respectful, and Safe — we create a positive and supportive learning environment.
