The successful candidate will:Hold consistently high expectations of all learners and believe in every learner’s potential.Be motivated, confident, adaptable, and resilient, with a strong commitment to international education.Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature, with experience teaching secondary-age learners. Delivery at A Level or IGCSE English Literature would be an advantage.Have experience of teaching the Cambridge curriculum, including IGCSE English, or be willing to develop this expertise.Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical analysis skills.Use assessment data effectively to track progress, inform planning, and support targeted intervention.Be confident and competent in using digital tools to support teaching, learning, and assessment.Create a purposeful, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and high standards.Contribute actively to the school’s ‘one team’ ethos through collaboration
