Position Substitute Full-time Native English Teacher (Substitute for maternity and childcare leave)

Salary and Working Conditions
■ Contract Period : June 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027
– This position is a fixed-term substitute contract for maternity and childcare leave.

– The contract will automatically terminate upon expiration without any separate notice, and this shall not be regarded as dismissal.

– If the original native English teacher returns during the contract period, this contract will automatically terminate at that time.

– The contract termination date shall be the earlier of the contract expiration date or the return date of the replaced teacher.

– This contract is for temporary employment based on a specific reason and does not presuppose a continuous or permanent employment relationship.

– Re-employment for the following academic year may be reviewed based on school operations and performance evaluation.

– The employee shall not have any right to contract renewal or salary adjustment.

■ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
※ Break time and lunch time are included within the working hours.

■ Teaching Load : 24 teaching hours per week(1 teaching hour = 40 minutes)
■ Salary : KRW 2,800,000 – 3,000,000 per month (before tax), (Salary varies depending on qualifications and experience)
※ The above amount includes a housing allowance of KRW 400,000, and housing is not provided separately.

■ Overtime Pay
– Additional teaching beyond 24 teaching hours per week will be compensated separately.

– This provision does not apply to classes conducted during vacation camp periods.

■ Performance Evaluation and Salary Increase
– Salary increases may be reviewed upon contract renewal based on performance evaluation.

– Salary increases are applied from the following academic year after at least one year of service.

– Increase range: KRW 50,000 – 100,000 per month
– Maximum applicable period: 6 years

Qualifications
⚫ Citizens of countries eligible for E-2 visa issuance:
USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
⚫ TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certification required
■ Preferred Qualifications
– Teaching license from home country
– Experience teaching English at a private elementary school in Korea
– Strong understanding of student-centered instruction and international education
– Responsible and committed attitude as a teacher
