With most of our leaders being promoted from within the GEMS network of schools, GEMS teachers are in a unique position to further progress their career as we continue our expansion within the UAE and around the world.Successful candidates will need to:Be a passionate IB specialist with experience of IB programmes, ideally the IBCPHave proven leadership experience within a Post 16 / Secondary settingDemonstrate strong knowledge of IB standards, assessment and programme deliveryBe able to lead, develop and promote the IBCP across the schoolHave experience of student guidance, academic counselling and pathways supportBe confident in leading core components including Reflective Project, PPS and Community EngagementPossess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skillsBe committed to collaboration, staff development and mentoringHave a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvementBe aligned with whole-school values and contribute positively to school life
