Center ( https://www.edmuhak.com/ ) operates an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) Program designed to help students smoothly adapt to studying abroad before departure.

• Schedule: 3 times per week (Mon/Wed/Fri, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
• Students: Pre-departure study abroad students
• Class Size: Approximately 30 students
• Location: Center, Gangnam HQ (Seoul)
• Format: Offline, in-person group classes (interactive)
• Help students adjust to overseas education systems and learning styles
• Build cultural awareness of their destination country
• Encourage networking and collaboration among students
• Improve integrated English skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
• Deliver communicative, student-centered lessons
• Design and facilitate discussions, presentations, and group activities
• Encourage English use in real-life and academic contexts
• Travel/city research and presentations
• Product planning and pitching
• Job creation & mock interviews
• Cultural presentations (destination country)
• Problem-solving presentations (e.g., city issues)
• Academic discussion skills
• Presentation & public speaking
• Critical thinking & expressing opinions
• Listening skills for lectures and real-life situations
• Encourage active student participation and provide feedback
• Help reduce pre-departure anxiety and build confidence

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• TESOL / TEFL / CELTA (or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of ESL/EFL teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and facilitation skills
• Experience teaching international or study abroad students
• Experience with Task-Based Learning (TBLT)
• IELTS or Academic English teaching experience
• Experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Strong communication skills to engage students
• Ability to act as a facilitator , not just a lecturer
• Structured lesson planning and time management skills
• Coaching ability to build student confidence
• Instructors are expected to prepare their own teaching materials
• Instructors may customize activities as needed
