We are a PBS school – Our staff have developed some fantastic practices and we are continually striving to further develop the learning opportunities we provide for our pupils. Pupils in The Bridge School have severe learning difficulties and many have autism. Every child and young person is an individual and we work hard to tailor our curriculum to meet their needs. We are recruiting for:Teachers to work at The Bridge School (Primary or Secondary site). You will be teaching pupils who have severe learning difficulties, in groups of 8-12 pupils. The work is intensive requiring flexibility, sensitivity, patience and resilience. An ability to work with and engage all pupils, with creativity and passion towards the role is essentialYou will be part of a small but effective team where communication and professionalism are paramount. The work, whilst challenging, is extremely rewarding. Primarily you will be required to teach, produce schemes of work and lesson plans.
