We are seeking professional and committed EFL teachers to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves teaching children, teens and adults, including Cambridge exam preparation courses, in our busy and well-established language school. Full-time position (Monday -Friday only) 25 hours weekly directed time (maximum 23 teaching hours) General English and Cambridge exam preparation This is a rewarding but demanding role, best suited to teachers who are organised, proactive and comfortable working in a dynamic school environment which prioritises professional dialogue. In our recent Aisli inspection ( February 2026), the genuine culture of professional development was highlighted as one of our key strengths. A summary of the inspection report will be shared with candidates invited to interview. WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR This position would suit a teacher who: has proven experience working in a busy language school environment is confident managing a varied timetable across age groups and levels enjoys working alongside senior members of the team to review progress of classes and students enjoys working collaboratively within a highly accountable teaching team is organised, resilient and able to maintain high standards under pressure THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL be educated to Bachelor degree level and hold a recognised ELT qualification (CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL) have at least 2 years’ post-qualification teaching experience demonstrate native-level English proficiency across all skills have experience teaching Cambridge exam preparation courses be skilled in planning and delivering effective lesson sequences (not isolated lessons) monitor and respond to student progress using formative assessment and feedback contribute actively to student evaluation and course development show a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice to refine teaching practice and drive students’ progress work positively and professionally as part of a collaborative team We are particularly interested in candidates who are looking to develop their teaching practice and take on responsibility within a structured, accountable environment where expectations are high and performance, reliability, and contribution to the wider school are expected and recognised. This is enhanced by our Stamford Professional Package, which incorporates all additional financial benefits and provides structured salary increases based on relevant experience and qualifications Maximum 23 teaching hours per week Paid induction period Paid holidays (Christmas, Easter and national holidays) Unlike some language schools in Italy, we do not operate an hours bank (monte ore) system. Your monthly salary and timetable are stable, and you are not expected to owe or make up hours that were not taught earlier in the year.
