Hourly Paid Instructor of English British Council Thailand (Bangkok)

British Council Thailand is recruiting Hourly Paid Instructors of English to join our Bangkok team starting from mid-May 2026. Main duties are; – Teaching students – Monitoring and supporting learners’ progress and performance – Contributing to the monitoring, evaluation, and

development of the course – Engaging in professional development and performance management – Supporting the wider aims of the British Council This is a fixed term, 1-year renewable, hourly paid contract position. There are positions working in both our teaching

centres on weekends, and in our partner schools on workdays. All positions will involve teaching children. Applicants must hold a first degree and CELTA or equivalent, as well as some Young Learner teaching experience. Experience of working with Thai learners

is desirable. The positions are open to qualified native and non-native speakers alike. NNES must demonstrate CEFR C2 level of English mastery. Pay starts from 631 THB per hour., increasing depending on qualifications. Taught hours are paid at 1.5x rate
