Elementary Music Teacher Chiang Rai International School (CRIS)

Chiang Rai International School (CRIS) is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Music Teacher to join our learning community. The successful candidate will inspire a love of music while supporting students’ academic, social, and creative development in an international school

setting. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA or equivalent) in Music, Music Education, or a related teaching field * Teaching certification or license (preferred) * Experience teaching music at the elementary level * Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate instructional strategies *

Ability to teach basic music theory, vocal music, rhythm, movement, and introductory instrumental skills * Strong classroom management and organizational skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Experience in an international school setting is an advantage Job Description /

Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate elementary music lessons aligned with school curriculum standards * Teach foundational music skills including rhythm, pitch, singing, and movement, and basic music theory * Prepare students for school performances, assemblies, and special events

* Assess and document student progress and provide meaningful feedback * Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment * Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support interdisciplinary learning * Maintain lesson plans, assessments, and required documentation *
