Arun Language Training & Recruitment is recruiting graduates of any discipline to teach English to children at private English language schools across Taiwan.

This is an excellent opportunity for first-time teachers and experienced educators alike, with full support provided from arrival through placement.

📍 Locations
Positions are available in Taipei, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Keelung, PingDong, Changhua, Hsinchu , and many other locations throughout Taiwan.

Why Teach in Taiwan?

Teachers enter Taiwan on a 90-day visitor visa (available on arrival) and convert to a work permit after arrival with full HR support.

Associate Degree Candidates with a U.S.

Associate Degree must hold (or obtain) a TEFL certificate
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree do not require a TEFL certificate
• Hard copy of degree certificate (must be brought to Taiwan)
• National criminal background check (less than 6 months old) Minor offences permitted
• Examples: USA: FBI
• UK: DBS or ACRO
• Canada: RCMP
• Ireland: Garda Statement
• Passport valid for at least 2 years
• No online degrees (degrees must be predominantly on-campus)
• Enthusiastic, dynamic candidates with a genuine love of working with children
• Flexibility to teach students aged pre-school to 16 years
• NTD $600 – $730 per hour , depending on qualifications and experience
• Expected monthly earnings: NTD 56,000 (20 guaranteed hours/week)
• Up to NTD 75,000 (26 hours/week)
• Earnings subject to experience, qualifications, and local taxes
• Guaranteed minimum of 20 teaching hours per week (up to 26)
• NTD $3,000/month teaching duties stipend (meetings, prep, training)
• NTD $10,000 contract completion bonus
• No office hours
• 7-day training & induction programme Hotel accommodation and meals provided (some positions)
• Assistance finding housing
• Full visa and work permit support
• National Health Insurance – all teachers are eligible for Taiwanese health care.
