Re: Employment – English, EAP, ESL, ELS, ESP & TESL Trainer at the University Level I have been a
Canadian citizen for more than 25 years, having a suite in Guelph, Canada.
And I am an international expert in teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language with tons of
hands-on experience, native level of English, good computer and Internet skills, flawless Grammar
and international English pronunciation. On top of it, I have a PhD in Linguistics with years of
research and valuable experience in the ESL/EFL teaching field.
My major for the PhD thesis is General Linguistics or Philology (Lexicology Field).
So, I have a PhD in Linguistics from the State University of Languages, after completing the
post-graduate courses, and passing all the PhD minimums with full marks (Philosophy, General
Linguistics, and Second, German Language). The PhD degree was accredited at the University of
Toronto, Canada in 2006 (Comparative Education Department).
I have a TESL Postgraduate (Master’s Degree) Diploma from Benn’s International (Toronto, Canada) in
2008, so my postgraduate program in Canada was Teaching English as a Second Language. The degree
was earned after the PhD accreditation as it was required by the Canadian legislation.
And I have an accredited membership of Teachers of English as a Second Language Association of
Ontario, Canada which is a part of TESOL International. I possess OCELT (Ontario Certified English
Language Teacher), ICTEAL (International Certificate for Teaching English as an Additional
Language); TESL Theory and Methodology Trainer Certificates.
Also, I am a CERTESL Graduate of the University of Saskatchewan: TESL PLAR was
earned through taking courses at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Education.
Thus, I have vast ESL teaching experience, project managing experience and I am completely fluent
in 4 languages with ILSAT Interpretation/Translation Diploma; and have a working knowledge of
German, the fifth language.
Moreover, I am a very valuable and reliable employee with great hard and soft skills: I am
respected at any workplace as I am very responsible, respectful and positive in spirit, have
got good computer, Internet, problem solving, time management and skills.
Alongside that, I work well under pressure, and I am a great team player caring for the
benefit of the institution and the country’s young generation.
Lately, I have been living and working in Saudi Arabia at the university level for 9 years, at KKU
as an Assistant Professor, and as an ELS Instructor at Tabuk University’s ELI. and working with
international students in many countries throughout my lifetime. So obviously, I am usually very
well adapted to local conditions and culturally aware.
Also, I have many very considerate reference letters and rewards which can be presented for your
kind attention anytime. Summing it up, based on my skills and experience I am a good specialist in
the field of ESL/EFL and a team-worker.
Regards,
Sara Sevinj , PhD in Linguistics accredited at the University of Toronto
