We are seeking an experienced Rugby Coach to play a key role in the delivery and continued development of the Emanuel School Rugby programme.The successful candidate will support the Director of Rugby with player development, specialist coaching and team preparation within the senior Rugby teams and will have additional involvement across younger age groups where required. They will contribute positively to a demanding, supportive and safe Rugby culture, helping players develop technically, tactically, physically and personally.Applicants must offer a clear backs or forwards coaching specialism. The school is open to either profile, depending on how the successful candidate complements the existing coaching team. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of leading a backs or forwards unit within a high-level school, club, academy or comparable performance environment.This is an hourly paid contract, offered for one year in the first instance, commencing 17 August 2026.The role will offer approximately 15 hours per week during term time, to be agreed with the Director of Rugby.The hours will include weekday coaching, regular Saturday fixtures during the Rugby season, pre-season sessions beginning week commencing 17 August 2026, and support for the Rugby Sevens programme during the Spring Term. Occasional Sunday attendance may be required for sevens tournaments.Working at EmanuelThere is always a buzz at Emanuel.
