The Role The successful candidates will join a collaborative and motivated teaching team and will be expected to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons across a variety of age groups and levels. Teachers are assigned an average of 25 teaching hours per week, generally from Monday to Friday, although some schedules may run Tuesday to Saturday depending on course requirements. Teaching duties may include: General English courses Cambridge English exam preparation English for Young Learners and Teens English for Academic Purposes Business English Cambridge International Curriculum subjects Off-site lessons in companies and state schools Online teaching sessions PON/PNRR funded educational projects Depending on experience and qualifications, teachers may also teach: ICT Maths Science to EAL learners in primary and middle school. Teachers are expected to: Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to student needs Monitor and assess student progress Maintain high professional and academic standards Participate in meetings, workshops and professional development activities Work collaboratively with colleagues and academic coordinators Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents, students and staff where appropriate Professional Development At International House Oxford Group Lecce, we strongly believe in supporting our teachers ongoing professional growth.
