The International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea Ltd is a leading educational institution in Oceania, located in Papua New Guinea. As the Principal/Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the school towards academic excellence and fostering a positive learning environment for both students and staff.Essential skills and experience:This is a highly visible leadership role within the IEA where your academic expertise and strategic vision will make a real difference to students, staff, and the community we serve. The position plays a major role in contributing to the IEA’s vision and strategic direction. The IEA TAFE principal/manager position requires individuals who have:• Experienced in managing vocational and educational training (VET)• Excellent knowledge of ASQA and AQF standards, with experience in rectification of non-compliance, and development, maintenance, and review of VET policies and procedures.• The capacity to provide educational leadership and manage change at the highest level.• A proven ability to identify growth opportunities and build strategic partnerships with industry.• A sound understanding of current global trends in vocational and higher education.• Lead alignment and relationship-building activities to strengthen collaboration, trust, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.• Demonstrated experience in financial and resource planning and management.• A proficiency in managing the development and performance improvement of staff.• An interest in contributing to a successful and sustainable future for Papua New Guinea.The ideal candidate:• Has significant leadership experience in vocational education and training leadership• Has a thorough understanding of the VET Quality Framework, RTO and ASQA requirements.• Highly effective interpersonal skills, including proficient written and oral communication, which can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all educational levels.• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently• Has performed in a similar role• Is a flexible multitasker and team playerIf you meet the above criteria and are excited about leading an innovative educational institution like ours, we encourage you to apply for this challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
