At JESS we promote a supportive learning environment where students always feel determined to do their best.JESS is seeking a Part Time Peripatetic LAMDA Specialist for September 2026 to join a dynamic Performing Arts and Drama Department and make a valued contribution to the future development and direction of Performing Arts and Drama at the school. The successful candidate will be required to teach one-to-one, small groups and in a classroom setting.JESS aspires to cement its position as a leading performing arts school in the region and is looking to excel further whilst delivering a lively and stimulating curriculum. The department is well resourced and supported. Drama and Performing Arts play an integral part of life at JESS. Pupils from the ages of 3 to 18 are encouraged to learn and participate as fully as possible in a routine of rehearsals and performances.Key Responsibilities will include: Teaching and LearningDeliver high-quality LAMDA lessons, workshops, and coaching sessions across year groups as required.Prepare students for LAMDA examinations, ensuring they are confident, well-rehearsed, and supported.Identify and nurture talent, encouraging students to develop communication, performance, and public speaking skills.Examination CoordinationManage all aspects of LAMDA exam logistics, including entries, timetabling, examiner liaison, and administration. – with support from Head of Performing Arts and Head of DramaEnsure accurate record-keeping and timely communication with families and staff.Analyse examination outcomes and use data to inform future planning and improvement. With support from Head of Performing Arts and Head of Drama.LAMDAEnsure high-quality, consistent delivery from Primary to Secondary.Provide targeted professional development to support effective exam preparation and student outcomes.Promote and model the
