As part of our continued expansion, we seek an exceptional Senior Deputy Head of School to join our senior leadership team. Guided by our core values of Excellence, Integrity, Discipline, and Respect, we are committed to raising holistic, well-rounded learners who can thrive in an ever-changing world.The RoleThe Senior Deputy Head of School provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of student life across the whole school. The role has a strong pastoral focus and works collaboratively with phase leaders (Early Years, Primary, and Secondary) to ensure a coherent, developmentally appropriate approach to student wellbeing, behaviour, safeguarding, and personal growth.The Dean of Students is a key member of the Whole School Senior Leadership Team and works closely with the Heads of Early Years, Primary, and Secondary.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of whole-school pastoral care, wellbeing, and student support systems.Develop and oversee age-appropriate behaviour management frameworks across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary, ensuring consistency and alignment with school values.Lead on safeguarding and child protection across the whole school, ensuring compliance with policies, training requirements, and statutory guidance.Monitor student attendance, punctuality, engagement, and behaviour trends across all phases, implementing targeted interventions where necessary.Work closely with academic and phase leaders to ensure pastoral insights inform teaching, learning, and student progress.Lead student leadership, character education, enrichment, and personal development programmes across all age groups.Strengthen communication with parents regarding student welfare, behaviour expectations, and support strategies.Support staff development and wellbeing in relation to pastoral care, behaviour management, and safeguarding responsibilities.Contribute to whole-school strategic planning and the development of a positive, inclusive, and respectful school culture.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)The Senior Deputy Head of School will be evaluated against the following KPIs:Whole-School Behaviour & Culture:Consistent, age-appropriate behaviour systems embedded across Early Years, Primary, and Secondary.Reduction in repeated behaviour incidents and increased positive behaviour recognition.Student Wellbeing & Pastoral Support:Effective early identification and support for students with pastoral, emotional, or social needs.Positive student voice outcomes relating to safety, wellbeing, and
