Who We Are NGE is a small, family-run English language school with over 30 years of experience. As an official Cambridge Preparation Centre, a major part of our curriculum focuses on exam success, and we thrive on maximizing our students’ potential. We are located in a friendly, vibrant coastal town in Southern Italy with easy access to the surrounding area. We are currently seeking two native-level English teachers to join our open, friendly team for the upcoming academic year: Young Learner Specialist (from 3-4 years olds) EFL Teacher for Teenagers & Adults Role Requirements Young Learner Specialist (Ages 3-12) We need a highly dynamic, energetic, and creative teacher to engage our youngest learners. Approach: Lessons for our little ones must be high-energy, active, and filled with games and movement. Exam Prep: Familiarity introducing young learners to the Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) framework (Starters, Movers, Flyers). EFL Teacher for Teenagers & Adults (12 upwards) We are looking for a dynamic, flexible, and active professional who brings energy and interactive elements to the classroom for older students. Approach: You should be skilled at keeping teenagers and adults fully engaged using active learning strategies, communicative games, and adaptable techniques tailored to all language levels. Exam Prep: A proven track record and full knowledge of successfully preparing students for the main suite of Cambridge Exams across all levels (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE). Age Flexibility: While the primary focus is teens and adults, the ability and flexibility to work with younger teenagers is also required depending on scheduling and course requirements. Applicants should have one of the following required qualifications: Cambridge CELTA, TEFL Certificate Teaching experience: 1 years Native level English speaker preferred Qualifications Cambridge CELTA Candidate Qualifications (Both Roles): Native-level English across all 4 skills. Cambridge CELTA, TEFL Certificate (all ELT qualifications considered alongside relevant experience). At least 1 year of teaching experience. Possess a clean DBS check and must hold the right to work in the EU / a valid EU work permit. Reliable, hardworking, able to deliver engaging lessons, and open to sharing ideas in a team. A working knowledge of Italian is preferred but not essential. Ability to respect an appropriate dress code Salary and Benefits €1,200 / month net ≈ £1,035 / $1,368 Airport pick-up Salary & Benefits Salary: Net salary of 1,200 per month. End of contract bonus Accommodation: Fully-equipped, single-occupancy apartment close to the school. Rent and bills are approximately 25-30% of your salary. Travel: Airport pick-up from Lamezia Terme Airport. Resources: Large classrooms equipped with smartboards, all necessary course books, and a wide range of teaching resources. Support: Help with lesson planning, dedicated mentoring, and weekly meetings to discuss student progress and your personal well-being. Full assistance with local admin and settling in. Teachers have 2 consecutive days off each week Paid Holidays: All Italian national/public holidays, including approx. 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week at Easter.
