the current position. For more information you can visit our website, https://www.sbs.ac.th What we need: SBS is seeking a dynamic, experienced, professional Physical Education Head of PE and Sports Department/teacher and Sports Coach to join our international teaching team. Successful

applicants will be suitably qualified and experienced, as well as being fully committed to supporting the development of students through curricular and extracurricular activities. Essential Responsibilities (included, but not limited to): ● Conduct day-to-day supervision and management of the school

department operations. ● Assist the School Principal in curriculum management, collaborative planning and academic-related issues, discipline of both subordinates and students through the IB PYP curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum. ● Ensure all timetables are monitored efficiently and on schedule.

● Plan and manage sports teams, competitions and tournaments outside school hours. ● Responsible for specific subject coverage/assignment, grading, examination paper, student record and report administration. ● Supervise, ensure and evaluate subordinates on lesson planning and management, timetable, classroom management,

implementation of unified curriculum, instruction and other related activities. ● Ensure that full support for school activities is observed and practised. ● Cooperate with the other departments and report to the authorities concerned in all areas of academic functions, responsibilities

and assignments and students ‘academic/social affairs and basic counselling as pertinent to the department’s scope of work. ● Foster the success of all students by facilitating the development, communication, implementation and evaluation of a shared vision of learning that reflects

excellence. ● Develop and enhance the outcomes of the department. ● Models high expectations of students and staff. ● Performing miscellaneous professional duties as assigned by the Principal. ● Teaching Physical Education to students according to the requirements of the

IB PYP curriculum, and Thai MOE from ages 3 years – 17 years. Qualifications: ● Degree in Sport Science or relevant field ● Professional Teaching qualification/licence/certification as applicable Experience: ● 2 years‘ professional experience in teaching in a structured school

setting. ● 2 years’ experience in teaching/coaching Sport and Physical education is essential. ● Experience in teaching a wide variety of ages and sports is essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements: ● Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 fluency) ●

Good administrative skills ● Be able to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities and ages. ● Good athletic ability and knowledge of the human body ● Competency in class management, time management, teamwork and differentiation ● Should have a

wide range of Sport and Health knowledge and be able to apply these skills to coaching/teaching.
