We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Teacher to join our Design and Technology department.

This position focuses on teaching Food Science/Technologies to Middle School students.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and a commitment to nurturing student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Home Economics or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Food Science or related subjects
• Experience with the UK curriculum preferred

Strong understanding of food technologies, nutrition principles, safety standards, and practical cooking skills

Ability to plan engaging lessons that meet diverse learner needs

Excellent classroom management skills

Effective communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues
