I lived in China for 3 years, during which time I was an EFL teacher. Prior to that, I worked in fields such as sales and recruitment. Following this, I worked as the UK project manager for an international HR company (HelloCareer), a position in which I was responsible for establishing infrastructure and branding (business development), arranging fairs and other events (events management) as well as developing and utilizing channels in order to place candidates into positions with one of their many clients (recruitment and HR). Now, I work as the head of English for Sunrise Academy in Lijiang, having completed an iPGCE at Liverpool John Moore’s University via UNICAF. I will soon obtain my UK QTS, and am currently enrolled in a master’s in commercial law.

I was the UK project manager for HelloCareer, a position in which I was responsible for establishing and overseeing the development of the business in the UK: I had to develop recruitment channels, organise events and later make use of the channels that I developed in order to place candidates. I placed 30 candidates out of 150 CVs gathered.
