These days calling someone or a company a scam is quite overused as a statement. If a business or person takes your money and then disappears and never provides you a product or service then yes that is a clear scam. That being said, people get impatient or they’re unsatisfied with the service or product they receive, they will often abuse that phrase and therefore slander a business for all their hard work. I have been recruiting over 20 years and ever since we had to start requiring collateral from people, I have been slandered to the high heavens to the point where we don’t even offer that up front anymore. We just offer the school contact information and let people go overseas themselves for free and see the difficulties and challenges we have to deal with first hand and maybe, just maybe there will be a little respect.
