Small World English Institute is a foreign-owned English academy in Gimpo, South Korea.

Instructing students in the same neighborhood for almost two decades has established us as a well-respected presence in our community.

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and positive teacher to guide our students on their English journey.

This is a great position for teachers seeking small class sizes, adequate class guidance, time to develop class strategies, and pre-made class materials.

Position: ESL instructor
Number of positions: 1
Class details: set curriculum, supported by a Korean co-teacher, activity-based learning, books, and materials are available
Starting date: Mid-July 2026 Starting date
Job location: Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea (right next to Seoul)
Salary: 2.3~2.6 million Korean won per month
Teaching age range: elementary
Class size: maximum of 4 students per class
Office hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1:00 pm ~ 9:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 1:30 – 9:00.

no overtime or weekends required
Teaching hours: 4 hours a day on average
Benefits: severance pay, 50% of health insurance, 50% pension, private housing
Vacation: all national holidays off, 1 week vacation in summer, 1 week in winter (determined by our local school calendars)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any field, native speaker only, at least one year of experience in Korea preferred, and Korean E2 Visa eligibility
