Founded in 2006, TAKE ENGLISH is already a prestigious English language academy in Seville with 2 centres and has taught thousands of students. TAKE ENGLISH is an authorised University of Cambridge preparation centre and a registered Trinity College examination centre, located in the east part of the city of Seville. We have 2 centres, both really well connected by public transport to the centre of Seville. Centre 1: TAKE ENGLISH, Amate. In a lively neighbourhood, 2 minutes walk from the metro line, Amate station, which will connect you with the city centre in 5-6 minutes (alternatively there are options to travel easily by bus or with the city’s public bike network). Centre 2: TAKE ENGLISH, La Negrilla. In a lively neighbourhood, 15 minutes walk from Amate metro station, and 8 minutes from Padre Pio train station, with direct connection to the main train station in Seville “Santa Justa”. In addition, bus lines 24 and 52, and the possibility to store your own bike in the school (you can come directly by bike or you are also allowed to ride your bike on the metro or train at times of moderate public affluence). In the 2 centres, we have a fantastic team of 14 teachers and administrative staff, and we pride ourselves on our great working atmosphere and our many students whom all our teachers say are so much fun to teach! We are pleased to offer TWO DIFFERENT JOB OPTIONS: one full-time and one part-time, with only two class days per week (likely Tuesdays and Thursdays). Both roles require a hands-on approach focused on developing our pupils skills and helping them gain confidence in listening to and speaking English through games, music and creative activities. Our senior teachers and administrative staff are on-hand to provide continued support throughout the course and we are constantly kept up to date with the latest trends in education and the English-teaching industry! Take English belongs to the following professional organisations: ACEIA (Asociacin de centros de enseanza de idiomas de Andaluca) FECEI (Federacin espaola de centros de enseanza de idiomas) ACADE (Asociacin de centros autnomos de enseanza privada) Trinity College Registered Examination Centre Cambridge English Collaborating Centre JOB DESCRIPTION: The job consists of giving classes to students in a group, with a maximum of 10 students. The classes should always be dynamic and fun, where there are always games or activities that are fun and attractive for the students. All our classrooms have a whiteboard but with a projector and laptop, and all students have a textbook and activity book. All the teachers have all the teacher’s material which greatly facilitates the preparation of the classes. Teachers can prepare the lessons at home and are not obliged to come to the school in the morning for that. In addition, they have a good number of non-teaching hours in their contract. The academy normally holds a control meeting once every 5 weeks, which takes place from Monday to Thursday in a flexible timetable agreed with the teacher, always trying to respect our 3-day weekends. The most important principle of Take English is our concern for the quality of our teaching. To this end, we consider training and observation practices to be fundamental: we hold several training sessions throughout the course (always in working days), as well as peer observation + feedback sessions, which help us a great deal to learn and progress from our mistakes and virtues.
