You will contribute to the development and progress of pupils’ mathematical skills while supporting their overall academic growth.The Assistant Head of Mathematics will have additional leadership responsibilities within the department, assisting with curriculum planning, staff support, and driving improvements in teaching standards across Key Stage 4.Skills and Qualifications:- A strong understanding of mathematics suitable for teaching at Key Stage 4.- Qualified teacher status or working towards QTS.- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.- Ability to plan effective lessons that meet diverse learning needs.- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.- For the Assistant Head role: Demonstrated leadership potential or experience is desirable but not essential.Values and Attitudes:- Commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.- Passionate about inspiring young learners through innovative teaching methods.- Strong work ethic with reliability and professionalism.- Collaborative approach to working within a team-focused department.- Respectful attitude aligned with Bolton Muslim Girls School’s ethos and values.If you are motivated by making a positive impact on student achievement in mathematics and want to grow your career in an encouraging setting, we welcome your application.
