Hello!

We are a small, (but very friendly!) private English-speaking kindergarten (as well as an after-school academy for elementary level kids), located in Cheongju, a large city about an hour and a half from Seoul (50 mins by train).

Since we are small, we are essentially one big family–teachers, administrators and kids!

We are now looking for a full-time Kindergarten/Elementary Teacher to start at the beginning of August 2026.

The successful candidate should:
*love having fun and being creative!

*care for and respect all other people in the school, both big and small.

*be enthusiastic about teaching very young children and the unique opportunities and challenges that this entails.

*be a mother-tongue English speaker with an internationally-recognized qualification for teaching English (TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent).

*have some experience of teaching young learners.

Working hours are from 9am to 6pm.

Salary will be negotiable (based on experience level), from 2.6 million ~ 2.8 million Won per month.

Accommodation will be provided and consists of a fully-furnished flat about 5 minutes walk from the school (or, if the applicant prefers, an equivalent monthly allowance for accommodation).

Health insurance is also included in the package.

Severance pay consists of one month paid bonus upon completion of a one year contract.
