is seeking a full-time Native English Teacher to start in September 2026 .

We have been operating for more than five years and have built a solid reputation among the local community as a place where elementary students can learn English and have fun in a relaxed, caring environment.

We are co-owned and managed by a British/Korean couple, allowing smooth communication among staff and with parents.

We try to make our classes as fun and stress-free as possible for the students.

We have a tried and tested curriculum, but teachers are encouraged to be as creative as possible within that curriculum when teaching.

We are located in Uiwang, Poil-dong.

We are roughly 10 minutes from both Indeogwon and Pyeongchon stations.

Convenient for anyone in Anyang/Gunpo/Uiwang, and under 30 minutes from Sadang Station for those commuting from Seoul.

POSITION: Teaching hours: MWF 2:30-7:00, TT 3-7.

Working hours: MWF 12:30-7:00, TT 1-7.

(Note: after adapting to the academy’s system a later prep start time will be granted).

Students: Elementary Class size: Maximum of 8, but most are capped at 6.

Class type: Phonics/speaking/reading/writing/basic grammar Class materials will be provided but some planning time will be necessary Minimal admin work
PAY AND BENEFITS: 2.3-2.6m KRW per month (depending on experience and interview) plus 400,000 KRW housing stipend.

Vacation: 15 days plus red days (all paid) Severance pay 50:50 Insurance and pension in accordance with Korean law
APPLICANTS MUST: Be legally allowed to work in Korea Be from one of the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa Be energetic and able to build rapport with students of varying levels and personalities Have great communication skills, to interact with students and other teachers Preference will be given to applicants with F visas currently living in Korea, but we could sponsor an E2 visa for the right candidate.
