Job Overview We are looking for a flexible, innovative, creative and enthusiastic teacher for the bright and enquiring young minds of our KiTa children: Nursery (1-to-3 years old) and Kindergarten (3-to-6 years old). Located in Hannover, our bilingual KiTa educates the youngest of our students, under the same roof as our primary and secondary school. Our KiTa’s bilingual concept is based on the principles of immersion, following the method of One Person, One Language. Towards this end, all group rooms have one English speaking educator, one German speaking educator and a third educator (language determined based on native level). This position is initially limited to a two- year contract, afterwards there is a possibility of a permanent contract extension. Role Description We are looking for a highly qualified Early Years Educator to join our team.Schemes of work are based on the combined objectives of the German curriculum for Lower Saxony, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum from the UK. Experience of having taught bilingual or trilingual learners for a few years may be an advantage, but is not essential. Knowledge of German is not a necessary requirement, but a willingness to learn the basics while living here will be important. Role Requirements A successful candidate:- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a teaching certificate in Early Years Education or a comparable university qualification that enables you to work with children younger than 6 years old- Fluent in English (Native or a minimum of C1 certified)- Has outstanding classroom practices with regards to the planning and teaching of lessons in interactive ways, geared towards the perspective age groups of the children- Dedicated to motivating children in all areas of their development- Can effectively monitor, assess, record and report on childrens’ development- Works well independently as well as in teaching teams- Has secure IT skills including knowledge of iPad technology- Has good interpersonal skills, a caring personality and a passion for working with children Please apply directly and upload the following attachments to your documents:(Please have completed references on
