ELD Teacher

Required Degrees: At least a BA in subject area taught. Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL, Details: English Language Development (ELD) Teacher – Job Description We are seeking a qualified ELD Teacher to support multilingual learners in developing academic English proficiency. The ideal candidate has experience with WIDA standards and assessments and is skilled in both push-in and pull-out instructional models. Key Responsibilities: Deliver targeted English language instruction aligned with WIDA standards and language acquisition best practices Provide both push-in classroom support and pull-out small group instruction based on student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers to scaffold content and support language development across the curriculum Assess student progress using WIDA tools (e.g., ACCESS, MODEL) and other formative assessments Differentiate instruction to meet diverse proficiency levels Monitor and document student growth in language acquisition Qualifications: Experience teaching English language learners (ELLs) Strong understanding of second language acquisition theory Familiarity with WIDA framework and proficiency levels Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive school environment
