Specifically, we offer a wide range of therapeutic and alternative education services to young people across the Greater Manchester area. This is an exceptional prospect for an ambitious, values-driven leader to shape a new provision from the ground up. About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate English Teacher to join our specialist SEMH/SEND school. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality KS4 English, inclusive of Functional Skills English and GCSE English Language. Working closely with the Head of School and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help embed our therapeutic ethos, relational practice, and commitment to inclusive, aspirational education for every learner. The successful candidate will:· Deliver engaging, well-sequenced English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing and communication· Personalise learning to meet the needs of pupils with SEND/SEMH, ensuring progress from each learner’s starting point· Promote outstanding safeguarding, behaviour and wellbeing through consistent relational practice· Use assessment, data and evidence-informed strategies to close gaps and raise achievement· Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, external agencies and colleagues· Contribute to a curriculum that is ambitious, accessible and responsive to the needs of our learners About YouWe welcome applications from teachers with experience in specialist SEMH/therapeutic settings, AP, or with SEND experience from mainstream. Candidates must have full UK driving license to be able to contribute to enrichment program using Edintervention pool car.
