Learning Support Assistant 1:1 Foundation Stage Kings’ School Dubai Inclusion Team is seeking an outstanding Learning Support Assistants 1:1 to join our excellent and highly successful department full time.This is a superb opportunity for an aspiring, imaginative and inspirational Learning Support Assistants to join an outstanding, creative, innovative and supportive team.The successful candidates will need to:Hold a bachelor’s degree or high school certificateHave in-depth knowledge of the KS1 and Foundation Stage CurriculumHave an in-depth understanding of working within the Foundation Stage especially a play based curriculumHave appropriate training in strategies used to support children with additional needsShow willingness to attend external training to support role and work closely with outside agenciesHave an in depth understanding of how to support social and emotional needsHave the ability to develop excellent relationships with childrenIn depth knowledge of the Read Write IncHave experience in running 1:1, play based intervention and the ability to adapt the curriculum to meet a child’s individual needsIn depth knowledge and understanding of how to differentiate work to close academic gapsIn depth understanding of a range of academic interventionsThe successful candidates may also have:A knowledge of support Down SyndromeAn understanding of how to develop speech and language needsAn understanding of how to support physical needs such as gross and fine motor skills.
