Required Degrees: Bachelor’s degree, TEFL/TESOL (min 120 hrs), CELTA Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL, Elementary, ESL to Children, Kindergarten, Details: I Can Read is a large multi-national learning organisation operating for over 20 years. We specialise in the teaching of English literacy skills but also cover general EFL content. We have over 20 centres currently in Thailand with plans for future expansion. Successful applicants will be required to teach phonological skills and reading, writing, speaking and listening skills using the specially-developed I Can Read System to classes of up to 10 students. Training and all lesson plans and materials are provided. Students are typically between 3-12 years old so applicants must be comfortable with teaching these age groups. We are looking for native speakers from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Ireland and South Africa with the following: • A completed bachelor’s or higher degree • A TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (120 hours minimum) • Clear speech with a universally understandable accent (This is essential for teaching phonology well.) • Experience teaching or working with children *Please see the additional notes at the bottom of the posting for further requirements. Position and Contract Details: Full-time: 5 days per week – 3 weekdays (13:00-19:00) plus Saturday and Sunday (9:00-18:00). All positions have two consecutive weekdays off per week. • 24-month contract • Post-probation salary of THB 48,000 per month (before tax and Social Security deductions). (The offered amount may be decreased or increased depending on location, experience and qualifications.) • Training and contract completion bonuses • Visa and work permit reimbursement and application assistance • Social Security and medical cover • Ongoing professional development We are currently seeking full-time teachers for these locations: • Bangkok Metropolitan Region: Central Westgate / Fashion Island / Mega Bangna / The Paseo Town Ramkhamhaeng • Regional: Rayong (close to Koh Samet) Part-time: Weekends (9:00-18:00) – minimum of 4 teaching hours within that period. Weekday cover work is sometimes available depending on the availability of the teacher (15:30-19:00). • 24-month contract • THB 600 per hour (paid monthly) (The offered amount may be decreased or increased depending on location, experience and qualifications.) • THB 100 per class incentive bonus (paid upon contract completion) • Training bonus We are currently seeking part-time teachers for these locations: • Bangkok Metropolitan Region: Crystal Park (Sunday) / Mega Bangna (Sunday) / The Walk Kaset-Nawamin (Saturday or Sunday) / The Walk Ratchaphruek (Saturday) • Part-time Relief Teacher (Must be able to travel on short notice around Bangkok, etc.) Please check our website or search on Google Maps for full details on locations prior to applying.
