This role will allow you to develop key skills and gain valuable work experience. This role would suit a keen graduate who wishes to immerse themselves into a vibrant and professional environment within a College setting. Main duties and Key Responsibilities:· To provide the environment in which students flourish, feel secure and fully engage with the school ethos.· To assist the Principal with marketing initiatives, some administrative tasks.· To assist the Head of Boarding with the organisation and resources of Boarding Houses.· To work closely with other boarding staff in that area of responsibility who maintain direct accountability for students in their own houses; to provide for the safety, good discipline and physical, academic, moral and pastoral wellbeing of all students in the Houses.· To support the Administrative functions within the school, such as providing reception cover.Please read the attached Job Description for full details of the post.Abbey College CambridgeAbbey College is a happy, flourishing, and successful international boarding college. You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and a flexible approach to duties. Hold A Levels or equivalent qualifications or experience, be competent in the use of a PC, particularly the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook, and have a working knowledge of record keeping and data protection. You will have excellent verbal and written English, good communication and organisational skills and have a working understanding of child protection. Higher level qualifications and previous experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable.
