It is responsible for an increasing number of academies in Leeds, Greater Manchester, Wirral and Stoke-on-Trent with the Co-op acting as the sponsor. There is the likelihood of significant further growth in the near future.The post holder will be instrumental in realising our vision to equip our young people with deep scientific knowledge and investigative skills who can effectively apply their understanding to the wider world. We are determined to nurture confident and inquisitive pupils who are equipped to solve problems utilising a diverse range of scientific methodologies. The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a large team of colleagues who in turn will deliver the highest quality teaching and wider experiences to the amazing pupils of our academy. Curriculum development, pedagogical approaches and strong analytical skills that enable our pupils to make excellent progress and achieve well over time, will be the hallmarks of the ideal candidate. We are easily commutable from all areas of the North West. We have a dedicated team of staff who build and share positive relationships and a caring culture with our wonderful students.
