Tes is supporting the appointment of a Head of Secondary / Head of Boys to join a school based in Qatar.The Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Secondary / Head of Boys to join their Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will provide strong academic and pastoral leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and student wellbeing across Key Stages 3–5.The Academy delivers a British-based curriculum alongside the requirements of the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education, within an inclusive environment guided by Islamic values. Following successful QNSA and NEASC accreditation, the school continues to grow and strengthen its reputation for excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Secondary Phase / Boys Section in line with school vision and improvement prioritiesEnsure outstanding teaching, learning, curriculum delivery, and assessment practicesDrive student achievement, progress, and effective intervention strategiesProvide strong pastoral leadership, including behaviour, wellbeing, safeguarding, and attendanceLine manage staff performance, development, and professional standardsContribute to whole-school leadership, accreditation, and school improvement initiativesRequirementsBachelor’s degree, PGCE/B.Ed., and QTSMinimum 2–3 years’ experience in a senior leadership roleStrong understanding of the National Curriculum for England (KS3–KS5)Experience working in an EAL environmentNPQH and accreditation/inspection experience are desirableMiddle East experience is an advantagePackageCompetitive tax-free salaryFully furnished accommodationReturn air ticketMedical coverTeaching couples will be considered.Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity and ‘Quick Apply’ below!
