The Subject Expert Teacher (SET) assumes the lead in delivering engaging, subject-specific learning experiences, while the Learning Enhancement Teacher (LET) ensures individual student understanding. As a Humanities Subject Expert Teacher, you establish a strong foundation of language and social science skills and knowledge. This includes Language Arts topics including beginnings of reading and writing, reading comprehension, writing process, and much more. Humanities topics include world history, American history, and beginnings of geographic awareness. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to tie in lessons with what students are learning in other subjects, such as music and art.
