K-2 Teacher

Required Degrees: B. A. or B. Ed. Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL, Elementary, Kindergarten, Details: AVENUE SCHOOL is a new institution that will open its doors next August 2026. Our commitment is to offer a high quality K-2 school, academically strong, with immersion in English for Mexican Spanish students. The goal is to become completely bilingual by Grade 6. Our model is 100% English in 2K and 3K, and 50/50 Spanish/English from Grades 1 to 6. We are starting the process of becoming an IB school. We are looking for native English teachers, who preferably hold Teaching Certification and have at least one year of experience. We offer a monthly salary paid in Mexican pesos of 20,000 to 25,000 ($1 USD = 18 pesos), provide housing and utilities, round-trip flight to Torreón, medical comprehensive coverage and a one-year contract from August to June. Cost of living permits to save around $6,700 to $9,300 USD at the end of the contract.
