We are seeking a teacher who can form strong partnerships with children and parents, and who can foster a classroom culture where curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning continue to grow.QualificationsBachelor of Education (Honours) with QTS or equivalent (e.g., PGCE/i, PGDE)Additional Key Stage 2/Primary-specific training or qualifications are highly desirableMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that cover the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and support children’s academic, social, and emotional development.Create a positive, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment with age-appropriate resources that encourage independence and collaboration.Track and assess pupil progress through regular observations, formative assessments, and summative reporting.Maintain effective communication with parents, providing both written reports and informal updates on children’s progress and well-being.Work closely with co-teachers and the wider Primary team to ensure consistency, high standards of teaching, and strong pastoral care.Support children in developing strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, including daily phonics and guided reading.Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, performances, trips, and community events.Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times.Skills & AttributesEssentialA secure understanding of teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, with the ability to plan and deliver well-sequenced lessons that support progress and attainment.Strong subject knowledge in English and mathematics, including reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, and extended writing.The ability to establish a calm, purposeful, and inclusive classroom environment, with clear expectations for behaviour and learning.Effective organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.Experience of adapting teaching to meet the needs of EAL learners and pupils with a range of abilities, through appropriate differentiation and challenge.A commitment to promoting independence, resilience, and a positive attitude to learning in Key Stage 2 pupils.DesirableExperience working in an international or culturally diverse school setting.Familiarity with British curriculum assessment practices.Experience with structured literacy or numeracy programmes.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of teaching experience in a Primary or Key Stage 1 setting.Fluent English speaker.Up-to-date DBS or police clearance to work with children.Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 is essential; experience with the IPC is advantageous.Experience supporting EAL learners is beneficial.Contract & Benefits2-year renewable contractCompetitive salary (paid in Thai Baht)Accommodation allowanceThai teaching license and visa providedHealth insurance allowanceWorking-day lunches providedOngoing professional development opportunitiesInterviews will be conducted via Zoom or in person for candidates residing in Bangkok.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Join us in shaping the next stage of a child’s learning journey, and help our Key Stage 2 learners take confident steps towards a bright future!
