English-speaking Language Assistant (M/F) Notre-Dame du Grandchamp (Versailles – France) is recruiting two English-speaking assistants to start on September 1st, 2026. The position involves : – 16 hours per week of conversation with small groups of students aged 14-17 or 18-20, – a Cambridge preparation class (2hours/week) with a group of 20 students. The lycée Notre-Dame du Grandchamp is a three-year private Roman Catholic high school providing instruction to around 1,400 high-school students. It complies with all French Ministry of Educations norms and welcomes students from different backgrounds in vocational, technological and general tracks. Our general track places students into the finest French universities and Grandes Écoles. It is located in the city of Versailles, in a lovely environment, close to Paris. In addition to the high school described above, Notre-Dame du Grandchamp is also a large and prestigious institution of higher education, serving around 1,200 post-baccalaureate students. It offers two-year degrees, bachelors and masters degrees in business, management, and accountancy. It houses an excellent and very demanding prépa, in which students prepare for two years their entrance exam for the best business schools in France. Qualifications The applicant must be English speaker (CECRL: C2 level / mother tongue or bilingual), with valid working papers enabling him / her to work in France Degree at college or university required; this position is ideal for students interested in teaching and education, and willing to spend a year (or two) in France in a privileged environment. Intermediate level in French needed to be able to communicate and work with the French staff and administration. Salary and Benefits Contract includes, in addition to salary, accommodation on site and free lunch on school days.
