Position / Job Specification: Music Intern (suited for new university graduates)Start : August 2026Department: PrimaryKey Responsibilities:The Music Intern reports directly to the Vice Principal and is responsible as part of a team for the effective collaboration in support of students’ learning and creativity across the music curriculum.The Music Intern is responsible to the Line Manager assigned by The Principal and carries out the tasks or project according to the Line Manager.Tasks:The Music Intern will:● assist in the management and creation of weekly and termly activities linked to the children’s learning topics across the whole school.● create and maintain resources across our Music rooms● assist with creating displays/show casing of children’s work related to music● Supporting at drama/music events● help maintain the Music online presence (Firefly, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram)● work to strengthen and develop the Music curriculum across the School● support school leaders in other tasks as requestedProfessional Expectations:The Music Intern should have the following qualifications/qualities:● current relevant degree in Music, preferably linked to primary education / degree in any subject with a passion and proven track record linked to music accomplishments.● Strong evidence of interest/creativity in the field of Music● Experience of working with young learners preferable● Available to take the Intern opportunity for the full academic year from August 2026 until early July 2027.Child Safeguarding:Shrewsbury International School Bangkok City Campus is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
