Staff reported feeling valued and proud to work at Blenheim.As a Single Academy Trust, we benefit from:A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and workload managementModern facilities and significant investment in resourcesA collaborative and supportive staff cultureExtensive professional development opportunitiesA comprehensive co-curricular programmeHigh standards of behaviour and conductFinancial stability and long-term investment in the school communityThe RoleThe successful candidate will provide technical, practical, and administrative support to the Music Department, ensuring the effective operation of music technology resources, recording facilities, studios, and equipment.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining music software, licences, and technology systemsSupporting the use of recording studios and music technology facilitiesMaintaining recording equipment, electronic instruments, and audio-visual resourcesSupporting lessons, rehearsals, concerts, performances, and extracurricular activitiesSetting up sound, staging, recording, and performance equipmentSupervising students using studio facilitiesManaging equipment inventories and coordinating repairsAssisting with music resources, displays, and departmental administrationSupporting the music tuition programmeThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:Has experience of music technology, recording equipment, sound engineering, or a related fieldIs confident troubleshooting and maintaining music-related ICT and technical equipmentHas excellent organisational and communication skillsEnjoys working with young people and supporting their learningIs proactive, adaptable, and solution-focusedCan work effectively both independently and as part of a teamA qualification in Music Technology, Sound Engineering, or a related discipline, together with experience in an educational setting, would be advantageous but is not essential.Why Join Us?At Blenheim High School, we believe our staff are our greatest asset.
