Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher required
Degree holders in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related fields preferred
Non-Korean nationals only
Native or near-native English proficiency required
More than 2 years of college-level teaching experience required
Experience in writing English course books preferred
Experience in teaching scientific writing preferred
Teaching experience at science and technology schools preferred
Teaching experience using AI and other digital technologies preferred
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
15 teaching hours per week, including:
Academic English: Speaking & Correspondence, 2 credits, 3 teaching hours
Academic English: Research & Writing, 2 credits, 3 teaching hours
and/or Scientific Writing, 3 credits, 3 teaching hours
6 office hours per week for student consultation and academic support
Developing in-house instructional materials
Teaching classes during semesters and breaks, if asked
Assisting in the operation of the English program and the School, including teaching materials review/editing, class-related administrative paperwork, and student counseling
Contract Period
One year, from August 14, 2026 through August 13, 2027
Renewable upon evaluation, up to 3 years
The date of appointment may be adjusted in consultation with the department
Salary
The annual salary will be determined up to a maximum of KRW 50,000,000, considering experience and other backgrounds.
