My English School in Europe is looking for freelance online English teachers to teach groups of adult students online, via our flexible online timetable: Connect. We provide a comprehensive professional development program for teachers who wish to grow with us, as well as a pay scale, tied to improvement, which allows you to make steps up as you gain experience with us. My English School is a network of schools in Italy, France and Spain, with over 85 schools. We have a communicative, dynamic method, a professional approach and a team dedicated to training, observation and teacher professional development. Our classes are online group classes for adults, with a mixture of grammar-based and speaking-based lessons. Our lessons last one hour and with groups of students that can change due to our booking system. We are looking for strong communicative language teachers who are able to build rapport with students, facilitate speaking activities, correct our students and who are confident about teaching online. Availability in key times is a requirement of the role: in the evenings from 18:00-21:00 CET/CEST and a Saturday shift between 9-00am – 18:00 CET/CEST. It is also necessary to have a reliable setup for online teaching including PC, good internet connection, webcam and good quality audio. For successful candidates, we provide 10 hours of full initial training and ongoing professional development, with observations, feedback and training sessions. A degree or evidence of further study is preferred. Our teachers should have at least one year of experience, including online teaching. You must be self-sufficient in terms of set up for online learning with reliable internet connection, webcam and microphone/headset.
