Job Title: Performing Arts & PE CoachLocation: Caister Academy, Caister-on-Sea, NorfolkSalary: Scale D, points 5-6 £25,583 – £25,989 (Actual £22,569 – £22,927)Start Date: 8th September 2026Contract Type: PermanentWorking Pattern: 37.5 hours, 40 weeks. 08:00 – 16:00, Monday – FridayApplication Closing Date: 14th July 2026Interview Date: 16th or 17th July 2026About You:Caister Academy are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Performing Arts & PE Coach to join our supportive team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about inspiring young people and helping them succeed both in and beyond the classroom.You will support students through lessons, interventions, enrichment activities, and wider Academy events, building positive relationships and encouraging confidence, participation, and achievement. If you are energetic, proactive, and enjoy making a difference to young people’s lives through sport and the performing arts, we would love to hear from you.Our Ideal candidate will have:GCSE English and Maths, Grade 4 minimum or equivalentLevel 2 qualifications or above relating to Performing Arts subject or PEExperience of performing within the Arts or PEGood knowledge of the pedagogy associated with Dance, Drama, Music, and/or PEAbility to support teaching to KS3 and KS4About the Performing Arts and PE Departments:The Performing Arts and PE Departments are vibrant, high-profile areas of Academy life, providing students with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, creativity, teamwork, and leadership both inside and outside the classroom.From performances, productions, and enrichment clubs to fixtures, competitions, and whole-school events, the departments play a central role in creating memorable experiences for students and fostering a strong sense of belonging within the Academy community.
