The RolePE at DBS is taught as a specialist subject across the school, from Lower School through to Sixth Form. The Teacher of PE is required to teach across all age phases and ability levels, delivering a high-quality physical education programme that supports both participation and performance.The postholder is responsible and accountable for securing the highest standards of student achievement in PE and sport. This includes effective monitoring, evaluation, and review of student progress, alongside setting clear targets for improvement.The Teacher of PE must fully subscribe to the core values of DBS and understand the importance of academic study, pastoral care, and co-curricular activities in providing a holistic education.The Teacher of PE will report to the Director of Sport.RemunerationThe successful candidate will receive excellent salary and benefits commensurate with their experience. This will include:Competitive salary.On-site accommodation (if recruited from overseas) for first year of contract at least.
