The role will also involve monitoring and maintaining the PE equipment and storage as well as supporting PE staff in the creation of lesson resources. Ideally, we would like to appoint a candidate with a passion for sport who would be willing to contribute to our extensive school squad provision.Main Duties:With All Staff · Assist school in achieving its overall vision and strategic intentions and to contribute to the achievement of relevant targets as set out in the school’s improvement plan and self-evaluation form. · Comply with regulations pertaining to health and safety at work legislation and adhere to school policies relating to safe working practice and equal opportunities regulations. · Comply with the school’s Performance Management Policy ensuring challenging annual targets are set and to fulfil the role of performance management reviewer if directed to do so by the Principal · Engage in annual training linked to child protection, safeguarding and health and safety together with all training deemed appropriate for the purpose of school improvement or performance management. · Comply with the school’s staff dress code at all times including the wearing of photo ID / lanyard · Comply with the school’s computer Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at all times · Attend all staff briefings. · Sign out and sign in at relevant school reception if off site at any point during the normal working day With PE Department · Maintain PE equipment and stock to ensure it is fit for purpose. · Prepare resources/equipment for lessons, under direction of the class teacher. · Support the teaching and learning of the PE dept. · Perform basic administration duties for
