As the School Business Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school’s operations. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to manage financial planning, resources, facilities, and administrative functions that contribute to creating an effective learning environment.Applicants should have:• A strong financial background with significant experience in strategic financial management.• A commitment to securing new revenue opportunities.• A high level of drive and determination.• Experience in Human Resources and managing a busy office team.Skills and Qualifications: – Strong organisational skills with attention to detail – Good communication skills, both written and verbal – Basic numeracy skills; willingness to learn financial management processes – Ability to use IT systems confidently (e.g., Microsoft Office, Arbor) – Willingness to develop new skills through training opportunities provided by the school Values and Attitudes: – A positive attitude towards working collaboratively within a team setting – Commitment to supporting children’s education through efficient school management – Reliability, integrity, and professionalism at all times – Flexibility and adaptability when faced with changing priorities or challenges – Enthusiasm for contributing positively to the wider school community If you are organised, proactive, eager to learn, and want to make a difference in an educational setting, then we would love to hear from you.The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.If you would like any further information, please contact us at Recruitment@newburypark.redbridge.sch.uk We reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
