We provide personalised, high‑quality education for children and young people aged 5–19. This role is based at our Epsom site, supporting students predominantly within the 11–19 age range.We are now seeking an inspiring Science Teacher who is passionate about transforming outcomes for young people with diverse and complex needs. If you are driven, creative and committed to helping every learner thrive, we’d love to hear from you.What you will be doingPlan, deliver and assess engaging Science lessons for individuals and small groups up to GCSE levelContribute to nurture‑based programmes that support students’ social, emotional and academic developmentMonitor, record and report on student progress, ensuring personalised learning pathwaysDevelop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and Behaviour PlansCreate a safe, stimulating and well‑organised classroom environment with appropriate resourcesWork collaboratively with LSAs, tutors, care staff and multi‑professional colleaguesSupport students in developing self‑regulation, independence and positive behaviourContribute to whole‑school development, safeguarding practice and the wider School Development PlanWhat you will bringQTS requiredAbility to teach Science up to GCSEHas experience working with young people who present with additional needs or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential)Can work effectively as part of a multi‑professional teamIs committed to safeguarding, high standards and continuous professional developmentCan adapt teaching to meet individual needs and ensure meaningful progressionAbout usAshley Park School is a brand-new independent specialist school in Epsom, Surrey, for autistic young people aged 5–19, with a capacity for 60 pupils.We provide a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
