Oundle School is seeking an experienced Science Technician for its Chemistry and Physics department, to assist with the day-to-day running of the technical support and prep room at our state-of-the-art SciTec Centre.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to assist with the day-to-day running of the technical support and prep room, and support the teaching of (Chemistry).Oundle’s SciTec site unites Mathematics, Science, and Design, Engineering & Technology both physically and philosophically, enabling pupils to move seamlessly from theory to practice, and from pure science to the achievement of a workable technology.Within the main SciTec building, there are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics departments. Each one is staffed by subject specialist teachers and supported by professional and skilled technicians.Hours: This role will be full-time, 40 hours per week, working 36.4 weeks and paid for 41.33 (to include entitlement to holiday pay).
