Science TechnicianRequired: June 2026Salary: Point 2 -6 (£25,594 – £27,077 actual salary)Term Time + 1 week (40 weeks per year) and 36 hours per weekWe are seeking a maternity cover within our science department for the role of Science Technician. This is a demanding role and the successful candidate will need to be organised and able to prioritise their work, ensuring that student learning is not compromised.The successful candidate will ideally have a background in science and will need to be self-motivated and flexible in their work.This role is not for the faint hearted; it is a rewarding, but challenging role. You will need to be resilient, patient and be prepared to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of the department. Working under pressure is vital for this role, along with a “can do” attitude.All candidates must have achieved a minimum of Grade 4 (Grade C) or equivalent in English Language and Maths to be considered for this role. If invited to interview, you will need to provide the original documentation for these qualifications.
