Working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, you’ll help create an environment where every learner feels understood, supported and inspired to achieve.What You’ll DoAs an SEN Teacher, you will:Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons aligned with the school curriculumMonitor, assess and celebrate student progressDevelop and review Individual Education Plans, behaviour plans and personalised learning pathwaysCreate a safe, structured and motivating classroom environmentWork collaboratively with support staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learningContribute to curriculum planning and whole-school development initiativesOrganise resources, classroom displays and learning materials that promote engagementEnsure all activities — both on and off site — are carefully planned with pupil safety and risk management in mindWho We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a teacher who is:Primary or Secondary trained (applications from both are welcomed)Passionate, resilient and empatheticWarm, creative and confident in their teaching practiceSkilled at building strong, trusting relationships with studentsCommitted to understanding each learner’s individual needs and strengthsAdaptable in supporting pupils to overcome barriers and achieve their personal bestA collaborative team player who values partnership workingComfortable working closely with colleagues, therapists, families and external professionalsMotivated to provide consistent, holistic supportExcited to contribute ideas and make a visible, daily impact within a nurturing school communityIn possession of a full UK driving licenceAbout UsDibden Park School is a brand-new independent specialist school based in Southampton.
